The role

We are looking for a Client Success Manager (CSM) to manage 40-50 client relationships in a hybrid role: two days+ per week in the Manchester office.

You’ll manage communication, set expectations, and ensure campaigns run smoothly.

Your focus is to give every client the best possible experience with Solar on steroids - understanding their goals, addressing what’s missing, clarifying results, and guiding them through challenges. You’ll spot issues before they escalate, support clients beyond our core service, and help onboard them onto new initiatives as we expand.

Empathy and organisation are essential. You’ll need to recognise when a client is under pressure, act quickly, and communicate clearly and confidently.

Key responsibilities

Manage relationships with 40, soon to be 50 clients via WhatsApp.

Set and manage expectations from onboarding through delivery.

Coordinate with creative, editing, and media buying functions to ensure quality and deadlines are met.

Organise and manage all client shoots and logistics.

Conduct quarterly satisfaction surveys and act on feedback.

Hold structured client touch-points:

Two weekly check-ins via WhatsApp (one data-focused, one general)

One monthly check-in on a video call

One quarterly in-depth performance review via a video call.

Help introduce, sell, and onboard clients onto new Solar on steroids initiatives.

Maintain accurate client records and report regularly on satisfaction and churn.

Requirements

Based in or able to commute to Manchester two days per week.

Excellent verbal communication and clear, confident speaking style.

Strong empathy, active listening, and relationship management skills.

Highly organised with strong time management.

Experience in client success, account management, or client services (marketing, creative, or media experience preferred).

Renewables industry knowledge is a small plus; but willingness to learn about the industry quickly is essential.

Honest, no-fluff communicator focused on results.

Comfortable with informal, personable client interactions.
