We run ads on Facebook & Instagram that educate, build rapport and actually win business, rather than just generate crap leads.
Before we entered the market, there was a big problem
Renewables companies and renewables marketing agencies alike thought the only way to advertise the service was by leading with a price or a nonsensical, time sensitive offer.
Agencies driving prices down
Most ads are being run by agencies, these providers would guide installers on what price to advertise.
However, when the agency took on another client (B) in the area, they would suggest a cheaper price, to ensure the ads were competitive locally.
Client A's results would then suffer, at which point, the agency would encourage them to decrease the price they advertised.
Client B would then feel the hit.
And so the cycle ensues and the industry death spirals into a race to the bottom.
Commoditisation
Leading with price in your advertising commoditises you.
It tells the consumer that their most important consideration should be how much the system costs, regardless of who installs it or how they do it.
It is very unlikely that you are the cheapest in the market, so when you are encouraging that mindset from those you advertise to, it is no wonder you end up with leads that don't close and battle you over £100 between quotes.
We've even run ads that say, "Looking for cheap solar? Go find someone else!"
Zero creativity, personality or education
Think of the best advertising campaigns you can remember, it is likely they had an element of creativity, personality or humour.
These templated ads lack all of those things.
They are as bland as it gets and leave no opportunity for the installer to show why someone should choose their business, over just a bargain price.
People buy from people and most of the installers we speak to say they went ahead with them because of the rapport they built and value they could showcase.
So why not lead with that?
It was about time someone put installers first
Because after all, what good is a cheap price and in demand hardware if its not specced appropriately and installed properly?

We prepare a shoot brief that encapsulates how you do business
Don't worry - we're not expecting you to recite a 10 page script. The brief is prompt based, our videographers will ask you tailored questions that give you the opportunity to speak through why someone should work with you in a conversational manner.
While we are going to make you a local celebrity, you don't need A-listed acting skills!

We'll visit you at 6-7 of your installation sites
Our team will come out to see you with high-end videography equipment to capture you talking through what has been installed and why, alongside why the customer chose you for their installation.
We've conducted over 100 renewables video ads shoots and our process is super slick.
We are often in and out of a property within 45 minutes, so we can visit several sites to acquire a huge variety of content that can be deployed into the campaigns.

Our team edit the video ads in your branding and style
Our editors will create a unique look and feel for your videos, with bespoke animations and transitions.
We can adhere to brand guidelines and ensure that all customers have the chance to give thorough feedback on the look & feel of the ads before the styling is rolled out across all of their advertising creatives.
Typically, our lead video editor will edit the first ad for you to review and create the most complex elements.
Once approved, an editing pack will be created, so that multiple editors can work on your ads (to increase throughput) while maintaining consistency with the signed off styling.

We put significant resources into managing your campaign on a day to day basis
Joe (Co-founder) and Sam (dedicated Media Buyer) work within Meta's Ad Manager to optimise your campaigns and ensure that your budget is being spent in the most efficient manner possible.

We report on results every week, with a monthly performance review
You'll receive a check-in every Monday with performance data via WhatsApp and be able to book in to speak with Joe on a monthly basis to dive deeper into performance and campaign strategy.
In those more in depth discussions, we'll drill further into the data to make commercially driven decisions outside of just achieving a lower cost per lead.
For example, if you are a Solar & Battery installer, we may look to reallocate budget depending on the proportion of full system vs battery only enquiries you are generating from your advertisements.

We shoot with every client, every 3 months (at least)
We've been running renewables video advertising campaigns on Facebook & Instagram since August 2024. We realised with some of our higher spenders that ads fatigue over time and campaigns need consistent ammunition of new assets to ensure continued performance and momentum.
So, we made the decision to shoot with every client, every 3 months (at first with no impact on the cost of our services).
If you are spending more than £20,000 per month on our ads, we shoot with you twice per quarter.
Spending more than £40,000 per month? We'll shoot once per month to feed the beast.
