How long does it actually take to become profitable from an advertising campaign with solar on steroids with Facebook ads? Lead generation begins basically the second that the campaigns actually go live. Unlike SEO or potentially other sources like Google ads that take a little bit more time to warm up, meta ads is actually really quick, because the way meta does it is it's able to analyze what kind of ad or what kind of content you've uploaded into ads manager, and have a pretty good steer on who you're looking to target right out of the gate, even if you don't have any leads or conversion events already.
To put that into plain and simple English, normally we see the first leads within the first day. We see the first surveys definitely within the first week and the first deals within the first two weeks. Now, obviously that varies massively. We've got some clients like AJ renewables, for example, that close two deals within their first 24 hours from us.
And of course there's plenty of factors involved. They're not doing anything silly like dropping the price on the day, but they've got a very slick sales process and they just had a really nice flurry of leads on that opening day. On on day one, to give you a real example, we launched six advertising campaigns on January 5th, which was the first working day back after the Christmas break, because a lot of the campaigns we'd held off, we didn't want to launch them over Christmas, people weren't in the office, etc. so we launched them on January 5th.
All six of those campaigns had generated the lead within the day of January 5th, so within 24 hours, every single one had had their first lead at the very least.
