Why are we more expensive than other solar marketing agencies or lead generation companies? The main reason is that we work very closely with our partners, a lot of leading companies, especially if they're selling leads on a paper lead basis. They have one system, one structure, one landing page, one set of ads, one ad account, etc. and then they funnel every one of those leads into a system that then distributes it across their partners.
So actually it's very plug and play. And you the ads that are being run on the front end are the same for everyone, and the leads are just being divvied out according to how much you've purchased. Whereas with us it's a very involved process. So we actually come out to film your sites. That's a non-negotiable.
We come to meet the team, we get involved. We build your own ad account and structure inside your own business manager. So you own all of those assets and this is your advertising account. The leads that you generate go directly to you and they are 100% exclusive to you. But on top of that, we provide significantly deeper insights and visibility than most agencies would.
So first, on the insight side of things, we're working with 40 plus renewables installers. So there are lots of things that we can see from a bird's eye view as to why people are getting results on what you may be able to improve, and what the general market sentiment is, as well as that when you join us, when you work with us for the first time, we've got all of those learnings that backing that data to inform our campaign, to make sure we get off to a flying start.
On the visibility side of things, most agencies only report on things like cost per lead or even worse impressions and engagement metrics. Really, what you care about is cost per sale or at the very least, cost per appointment and cost per survey. So we give you the visibility over those deeper metrics that actually feed out of your CRM, because we can't see them on the front end without some clever specialist kind of APIs that we've developed.
So we actually do a lot of our reporting based on your true financial return on the campaign, which otherwise with most legions, you would have to start trying to figure that out yourself, and especially with how complex the tracking is and stuff like that. You may be left in a situation where you're blind and kind of looking at numbers that don't actually mean very much to you.
The other thing is, we are quite simply paid for our track record. People come to us because they want to grow. They don't want to waste three months experimenting with someone that hasn't done it before in a similar space, and they see our track record and go, yes, these guys are a little bit more expensive than potentially the agency that are local to them, that aren't a specialist, that are quite generous agency.
Maybe they mainly do websites and SEO, but they want to give meta ads a go. Yes, they are more expensive than them. But actually when I weigh everything up, all things considered, the opportunity cost of using someone that's less experienced, that's less specialist far outweighs the potentially slight increase on my retainer.
On a monthly basis. You have to start looking at it from your potential return. If you're looking at our campaigns where vast majority of our campaigns see at least a 20 times return on ad spend, then you're looking at that and you're looking at a maybe a 25% higher retainer, but the other provider is going to get you half the results, or even 25% of the results.
You start weighing up. And it's a complete no brainer for that reassurance that data and that track record.
