How should you prepare for the discovery call? The first thing is attend the call on a laptop. Please do not attend on a phone because I am going to be showing visual materials that are very hard to actually see on a mobile device. The other thing, as simple as it sounds is be on time. You know, I respect your time.

I'm going to be on time for the call. And at the very least, if for whatever reason I am running late, I'm going to let you know. So please do not just not turn up to the call or turn up five minutes late and assume that that is just fine. Our time is valuable as well as yours. The other piece that is really useful for us is if you just know your numbers, whether that be your own sales figures or if you're running any advertising campaigns currently.

Do take a look in advance of the call as to how those campaigns are performing. It's really important for us. The last thing we want to do is be on the call. You trying to scramble around, trying to log in to a business suite to understand if you're getting the results that you actually want, and whether we could even surpass what you're already doing.

If you come to the call with numbers on your cost per lead, cost per quote, cost per sale, then we can have a much more informed and educated discussion as to what we can really do for you.
